Ale lovers rejoice: Historic Lincoln is the perfect destination to buy and experience delicious real ale and unique craft beer. Check out our 24 pubs to visit!
The highly-popular Lincoln Ale Trail leaflet has been refreshed and brought up-to-date with the addition of new venues and extra specialist retailers in the city.
From the historic public houses of Steep Hill, to the vibrant bars on the Brayford Waterfront, there is a huge choice for a pint of smooth ale or refreshing beer in the city!
Plus, with live music, beer festivals, and quiz nights throughout the year, you’ll never be stuck for somewhere to visit. There is plenty to complement your ale adventure when you visit: Lincoln is one of England’s finest cathedral cities. It boasts a magnificent historic backdrop, year round events and festivals, plus great shopping and, of course, delicious local food and drink.
Lincoln Ale Trail is a fun and sociable way for locals and visitors alike to discover Lincoln’s amazing mix of pubs and bars. The guide features 24 venues across the city centre and you can rate your experience in each pub. We challenge you to visit each pub and complete the entire Ale Trail (not all at once though!).
Whether you prefer relaxing in an historic inn or an edgy contemporary bar, Lincoln’s choice of venues offers something to suit all tastes...
The Lincoln Ale Trail leaflet is available from participating venues, the Visitor Information Centre in Castle Hill or can be downloaded here. Alternatively, follow the trail on the LoyalFree app!
The new Lincoln ale trail leaflet is brilliant! Will be doing the 24 pubs in the next few weeks.
