In response to the global lockdowns in February 2021, Ian Bell introduced Acuitis Opticians to Lincoln's high street, anticipating a shift in lifestyle post-lockdown. Recognizing economic uncertainties, Acuitis positioned itself to address diverse community needs in eye care, hearing care, styling, and fashion.

In August 2022, Ian partnered with experienced Optometrist Priyesh Patel to enhance clinical eye care. Acuitis prioritizes exceptional care, utilizing advanced eye testing tech, sustainable frame materials, and digital hearing aids with A.I. technology. The ethos centers on problem-solving, embracing challenges as opportunities for solutions, fostering a "Home" environment for valued guests.

Acuitis is committed to resolving visual and hearing challenges, providing transformative care to the Lincolnshire community. Challenges are approached as opportunities, whether for clearer vision, sharper hearing, adjustments, repairs, or style overhauls. The team connects guests with community resources when challenges prove insurmountable, reflecting a commitment to support.

Ian's training as a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD) enhances audio care, addressing recruitment challenges and contributing to operational growth.

As Acuitis grows, core values of excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction remain paramount.

The brand is all about being different the team are all from different professional backgrounds allowing them to bring all their skills together and create a first class customer experience.

What made you want to come and work here- I used to work in jewellery and about 5 years ago Acuitis were opening a new store, I wasn’t really looking for anything new however after visiting a Acuitis store I could see this was a different concept to other opticians and I knew my skills could be transferable it wasn’t your conventional looking opticians.
