Meet the team at David Fowkes, Lincoln’s newest Jewellery Designers

Opening their store in September 2022, David Fowkes is located on Lincoln's Bailgate and offers handmade materials and a range of beautiful, one of jewellery pieces. 

Having established the Thoresby Park workshop and gallery almost 20 years ago it was time to expand horizons to reach a wider audience and to bring true handmade, design led jewellery to Lincoln.

A large part of their working week is spent dealing directly with their clients, to develop a dialogue and to work closely to make their dreams a reality. As a company they are blessed with clients who place great value in their offerings and consistently return for projects anew.

Their approach to jewellery design and manufacture begins with the gemstone, sourced directly from the miners. Through a period of discussion and consultation, the stones are then cut to exhibit the unique characteristics of the gem. This is where the creative brief begins, and the collaboration process continues with designer and goldsmiths. The majority of the pieces made are one-off designs, wherein the gemstones have a vehicle to truly shine!
