We are proud to announce that Lincoln BIG has been shortlisted in the Tourism Excellence Awards for our 1940’s Weekend in the Event/Festival Category.

An event that has become a highlight in the city’s annual calendar. This recognition is a fantastic achievement, and we’re incredibly proud of how the weekend has grown to capture the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

The 1940s Weekend is a celebration of the city's rich heritage, bringing together the community with a vibrant mix of vintage performances, re-enactments, and wartime nostalgia. This shortlist is a reflection of the hard work, passion, and support from our partners, volunteers, and everyone who has helped make this event such a success.
