Lincoln Big Partners With Lincoln City Football Club To Welcome Fans Into The City

Lincoln Business Improvement Group (BIG) are delighted to announce the recent partnership with Lincoln City Football Club.

This partnership sees a closer working relationship between the two organisations to invite businesses to support their local team and encourage residents and visitors into the City during match days.

Lincoln City Football Club, currently competing in the EFL League One, welcomes thousands of visitors each home game and Lincoln BIG look forward to welcoming these football fans into the city, to explore what’s on offer, whether that be a meal or drink in a local hospitality venue, or a souvenir from a nearby retailer.

Located throughout Lincoln City Centre will be new window vinyl’s displayed in various businesses to show their support of the local club. The vinyls, provided by Lincoln BIG and Lincoln City Football Club show unity and support for the football team throughout the season, whilst strengthening the local community.

Additionally, to support the window vinyls, an interactive map is set to launch on the free loyalty app on Friday 25th August and will run throughout Autumn and Winter until 2024.

The Football trail will feature multiple locations across the city, with each business hosting a window vinyl. Participants can discover new businesses and check-in on the LoyalFree app, each check in will enter them into our competition for the chance to win a brilliant prize… a retro shirt, signed by the Lincoln City legend and record appearance holder, Grant Brown!

This competition will run until Christmas, so make sure you check in at a participating business before then to be in with a chance of winning.
