CALLING ALL LINCOLN CHARITIES: APPLY NOW TO BECOME THE HEADLINE CHARITY FOR THE LINCOLN KRAZY RACES 2025!

The countdown is on! We’re thrilled to announce that the Lincoln Krazy Races 2025 Soapbox Derby will take place on Sunday, 22nd June 2025. This year, we’re searching for the headline charity partner to join us in making this spectacular event even more memorable.

With over 250,000 visitors and more than £150,000 raised for local causes across the UK, Krazy Races has built a solid reputation as one of the most exciting and unique events on the calendar. After the fantastic success of last year’s event, we’re bringing the adrenaline-fueled action back to Lincoln, and we’re looking for the perfect charity partner to join us on this journey!

This year, we’re inviting Lincoln charities to apply for the opportunity to be the official headline charity for the event, with the community playing a crucial role in selecting the winner through a public vote. We’re excited to offer this incredible platform for a local charity to raise awareness, engage with the community, and help us raise vital funds for a great cause.

Krazy Races Charity Selection Process

Here’s everything you need to know:

• 20th March - 31st March: Lincoln charities are invited to apply by completing this application form. Any questions? Please email [email protected]
• 31st March: Application period closes
• 1st - 3rd April: Consultation with charities
• 4th - 13th April: Public vote via Krazy Races social media channels (Charities are encouraged to share these posts to maximise votes!)
• 14th April: The chosen charity will be announced!

Charity Criteria

• Must be a UK-registered charity with a valid charity number
• Based in the Lincoln area and directly benefiting the local community
• Staff or volunteers must be available to attend the event on Sunday, 22nd June 2025
• Must have strong connections with local businesses to encourage them to participate in the event by entering soapbox teams
• Must commit to promoting the event through your website, social media, and local PR channels
